um i lost my battery strap dont ask how and im going crazy trying to find it:mad: is there a homemade strap till i can order/find one???

You can easily make one out of a thin plastic. I made a set out of plexiglass for my brother's E-Maxx.

If you do not have the means to make one shoot me a PM. I have a bunch of E-Maxx battery straps that I do not have a use for. I can send you one if you really need it.

Waste of money in my opinion, but it does look good.They act as heat sinks if nothing else. I agree though... They look good... That's why I bought mine...

Yeah. Trinity makes (made) heat sink battery straps for the E-Maxx. I bought the ones made by Traxxas.

radioshack sells re-usable zip tie thingies (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2104737&cp=2032058.2032237.2032318&pg=2&parentPage=family). i use them a lot. i like them 'cause they can really stretch, and you can pull them apart when you're done.

i also picked up some long velcro straps from home depot (can't find a web link, sorry) that i use to hold down the batteries on my Clod.

I use velcro on my emaxx, and Reusable zip-ties on my rustler.

I made these so I can run 6 flat or 7 cell hump or 7 cell e-maxx style batteries.

well if i wated i could have made some at school (cnc) but i wasent evean thining about my 7 cells and by chance they fit :lol:
