I have heard of it, and people tell me it isnt hard to do! I was just wondering how many of you know how or do run dual batteries on your truck? Is there a kit that you can buy to do this or is it custom? Is it safe to do or will it burn up your esc?

Run one on the top of the chassis where you normally have a battery and zip tie another one underneath. Someone can tell you how to wire the batteries. I think it is in series to keep the same voltage. I'd hate to tell you the wrong thing.
Get some heavier springs and thicker shock oil.
Oh, plan on more breakage with all that added weight!
I should also ask "Why do you want another battery pack on board?" Is it for more voltage (ie. brushless) or for more run time?

Actually it is because I am bored and the thought just popped into my head, I dont know if I will ever go through with it or not!

I believe you have to wire them in parallel so there is no voltage increase only extended run times.

Phew...I knew I had it wrong! LOL.....maybe next time I will remember. Thanks for the correction!

Series: Double the voltage... No change in battery capicity.
Parallel: Double the battery capicity... No change in voltage.

ya know it would be neat to double the voltage! I wouldnt do it, but if you were going to change esc and motor and throw the old 1's away it would be cool to see a motor that will do 28mph go like close to 40mph till it ends in a horrible cloud of smoke, that is if it would even get that long of a run before it burned up! hehe.... I am just saying, dont take me serious!

Your ESC proabably wouldn't even move the truck one foot at double the voltage before frying.
