View Full Version : Servo Problems

Upgrading from TQ3 to Spektrum DX-3 2.4Ghz Tx. With the 2.4Ghz Rx installed, I no longer get good servo throw on the stock steering servo's. The batteries are all good, the throttle servo works fine (no reverse), and the mechanical end also seems to be in order. Oh yea, the optidrive is also uninstalled.
Will I have to make the switch with the servo's as well? If anybody could point me to the right place would be appreciated.
Check your axle carriers bad bearing, your pivot balls to tight, or cracked axle carrier check your steering bottun on your grip the "B" button make sure it is set at 100%

From what I have seen most people have to set the steering travel up to 125% on the Spektrums. PM me and I can help with the reverse and if you want optidrive will work also.
Rather then a PM, I can post it up here so others can see.

Thanks for your responses. You guys were both right. Once I adjusted the "B" to 125%, I can finally get the steering arm just about to the steering stops (on part 5343).
As for the optidrive, well, I kinda "mishandled" the reverse servo and broke it. Not my brightest moment. lol
Thanks for your help.
