if i riged up a 9 volt to my reciever would it work. i heard it would fry my electronics.

just stick with 6V not worth taking the risk. 6V will provide plenty of power for steering and throttle

i wasnt planin on it im not that dumb but i thought someone might have tried i wouldnt be hard to do

9V is way too much for your electonics. Even 7.2V is very unsafe.

It's in interesting question. If the servos could handle it (more torque and quicker response - or, if not, toasted), you could definitely use a power stabilizer/regulator module to make sure the RX gets a nice steady supply of 6V, while the the servos got as much juice as they could handle.

if the electronics could handle a 9v battery, then there would be nothing to stop you.
