Completely different OS's, you'd need different ROM's and start-up stuff, not to mention a new MB. Didn't you hear that the some of the new intel core-duo macs are going to have this thing were it can run windows OS? You can switch it up and stuff. Just put your money into one of those (it'd be WAY faster than the computer you have right now) and sell your old one.

There is a way. Only one way. You must have a new Mac that is intel based. If you don't have an intel based mac then you have no option to split the drive. If you do have a new Mac that is intel based then you can use BootCamp which is a beta program from Mac to enable dual boot with OSX and WinXP. (BootCamp will be built into OSX 10.5 when it comes out)

Also, if you don't have an Intel Mac then you can always use VPC inside OSX to run a win emulator.
