Do you guys think its neccasary to buy new servos all around on the jato. And if so which ones should i get

id just stick with the stock servos until they are worn out or you start racing. if you really want new ones then get the hitec 645 and 625. thats what most people use

Yep, as far as Im concerned... HiTec for the steering servo with metal gears is the only way to go.

I'd agree. 625 and 645 go for around $40 each. Ball Bearings and metal gears. :cool:

I went all out and got the HiTec servo with the Titanium gears for $110. It is the high speed servo, but it works wonderfully. I also got the aluminum servo saver and the duo works great together.

yes, thats what people normally use for their steering servo. correct me if im wrong

well if the 645 is what most people use for steering then it would be the stock servo 2055 that youre replacing. the stock steering and throttle servos are different

the hitec 625 i believe. i mean you could use either the 625 or 645 but i think most people use the 625 for the throttle which is the stock servo 2018

Dont forget, you need to buy the 'Aftermarket Servo Horn Set' for the Jato, to mount them to the steering horn.


You need part number 5545X which are aftermarket servo horns for other manufacturers.
