I was just wondering who lived in the D/FW area and drove a 4wd truck. I'm looking for some friends to go 4 wheeling with and to play with r/c trucks.

1989 GMC S-15 4x4 2.8 L v6, 5-spd, 5" TrailMaster susp. lift, Superlift upper a-arms, Detroit locker in rear axle, 4.10 gears, 31x10.5 Pro Comp m/t, 2 KC daylighters, fabtech prerunner front bumper, Cobra CB, 102" whip antenna,K&N, 40 series flow, 2 1/4 pipe into 3 1/2 tips...sounds like a v8.

Traxxas T-MAXX, NEW .15pro eng, alum frnt&rear skid plates, spool in rear, suburban body w/custom paint, RobinsonRacing steel spur gear, RR vented flywheel, titanium susp. pin set, Ti. turnbuckles, K&N, stiffer springs, stering servo skid plate, black painted wheels, run on Race Formula 30%nitro.

Traxxas E.Rustler, Lightspeed 20 turn motor, pro-line bowtie rear tires, rest is stock but not for long. Soon new ESC and a 8turn triple motor, me is gonna have a fasssstttt truck. :D

How about, "Anybody in Texas NOT have a 4X4?" When I was there I saw more trucks than people! Anyway, isn't the 89 S-15 one of the years that you could drop a small block V8 right in with no major mods if it already had the 6? That would be overkill, but sweet.

Well..I'm in MN with a 4x4. My dad's got a Ford F-150 Custom. It's had an engine rebuild and has needed no other maintainance (other than adding fluids... ;)) This is a nice truck but I'm not very good at driving it in 4wd, especially on pavement. Let's just say that there's a lot of burnt rubber and stalling when I try to drive it in 4wd. lol
