what does everyone use for replacement tires? i got my kids both a stampede for christmas, and the tires are messed up right out of the box. the rubber is thicker and heavier on one side causing the tires to wobble terribly. has anyone tried the moab tires from pro-line in 2.2 size?

been looking into the MOAb's from pro-line...supposivly they re 5 inches tall!!

Anyways lot of people use the pro-line masher 2000's... very sticky, yet durable and soft compund. Also, lots of people use the Imex brand of tires.... Also very good tires.

Its basically all about what you want your truck to look like, but pro-line and imex make the best 2.2 tires IMO.

I have the Moab 2.2's. They are stickier than the stock tires, that's for sure. They're also skinnier and taller. Yes, they are really 5 inches tall but that doesn't look outrageously tall or anything. The biggest visual difference is that they're narrower than the stock tires. I think the Moab's are made of the same rubber compound as the M2k's, so I imagine the grip is similar. However, I haven't used M2k's so I can't compare them directly.

cool.. the narrower part is kind of iffy hehe.... I would say get them Maxx...if they compare to m2k's but looks cooler, defentialy.
