no its not my first nitro i have a revo rustler also and used to have a 4-tec i took good care of it cleaned it used after run oil and always tuned it so it would run flawless and cleaned the air filter everyday i broke it in step by step ;)

thats beat. this is my first but i picked the tuning part up quick. lately though ive noticed after a high speed run itll just shut off and then take a little to restart it. are these the first signs of a going piston and sleve?

im not quite sure because this is my first dead engine it would not stay tuned and fly wheel was very easy to move

thats good that they have the sirio because sirio doesnt make that version anymore The sirio is rated at 1.9 hp @40,000rpmthey never gave a torque spec the os is rated at around 1.6hp

I would say get a hot .12, but if you do want a .18, get either a TM or TZ.

It's not your guess, it's a guess from Sirio. No dyno, no numbers.
And that's a big plus resorting to person attacks instead of mature discussion.
By the way, add a "]" to the end of the quote so it phrases correctly.

Its not a guess they wouldnt publish numbers if they werent true and if its not exact numbers it close the 27 engine sirio said had 3.1 and it was dynoed at around 3 so why so much negative talk from you on sirios engines

3rd trx 2.5 other 2 treated like dirt the 4 tec had 4 gallons through when i sold it my nitro rustler has 5 and i can tell is startin to go but the jato i spoil it with all kinds of fun things and this is wat it gives me but the sirio will be better than the 2.5 and ill forget 2.5s ^_^

Yes yes yes we know. I too have had Os .18's and DTX .18's that have lasted 5-6 gallons and were still going strong when I sold them. But my TRX 2.5 had lost compression at 2 3/4 gallons. I blame it on temps not being high enough. The cooling head I had was not allowing the engine to get over 200F and usually ran at 190F. Also do to a on-board temp gauge that was 50 degrees off I broke the engine in at 200F which I thought was 250F. Thats just not hot enough imo and thats the reason I believe my sleeve and piston went so fast.
Now Im running a different head with the new sleeve and piston and odonnell fuel and its running at perfect temp of 230-240. This sleeve should last longer. If it doesnt its....OS time:D .
