I own the red ones and have had a few tumbles and crashes and nothing has even bothered them. I raced 2 heats and A main friday and they never broke. but i have bent the stock steel ones several times, as far as stronger ones the only thing i know is titanium but they are smaller in diameter.

I think maybe some of the first batch were bad thats why everyone was complaining they must have made them better now b/c mine have taken hits and survived

cool I think it looks better with the red turnbuckles on it then the stock. I mean red is the best color but it would look better with colored turnbuckles then stock

i bent a red aluminum turnbuckle first day at the track...
they are gone now. i have the Lunsford Racing Titanium Turnbuckles, so much more stout and you can feel the difference in the trucks handling :)

I broke a red turnbuckle the first day at the track. I still have the reds all around except the 2 front where they seem to break the most. I replaced those with lusfords too. I will replace the reds as needed but no problems with the rest so far.
