I wanted to put a link to this page in the drag racing thread the other night but couldn't find it at the time.
I just found it and thought I'd share it with you all. For anyone who's not a fan of coffee can pipes on a Honda Civic, this page is for you. :D

That is the stuff i've been talking about, 99.9% of that is just alot of stickers and big goofy looking wings on cars that run a 16 sec. 1320(the fast ones run 15 sec.) and probably can't even go 100mph,my grandma in her Crown Victoria can do that .
Those little cars are downright disturbing. Long live the normally-aspirated 6cyl and V8! All with us say "Aye"!:)

Hey, I"m only 14. But I have a real passioin for Old cars. Old to you might be in the 60's and 70's. But old to me is before way before that. In our family we currently own 5 old cars. 3 or which are my dads and each of my brothers have one. we have a 1947 White 3 Ton pick-up truck, a 1927 studebaker dictator, a 1939 Oldsmobile 60 series (those are my dads) my oldest brother has a 1954 chevy bel-air, and my other brother has a 1923 Model T which we are currently 1/2 done with its restoration. I get soooo mad every time i see some kid driving a honda civic, with a 2 dollar exaust system, and a spoiler. The thing that makes me mad is that they actually think they have an awesome car...when they really have a piece of ****. I say, If your going to put a lot of money into a car to make it better....do it to a decent car...not a $500 blue light special.........thats just my $0.02.....Good night and God Bless

Oh, why must I always try to set these import-haters straight...? I think 15 seconds might be a little bit of an exaggeration...under 10 seconds is possible if you've got a decent import. By decent I mean a Toyota Supra (6 cyl powerhouse, by the way...) with a magic blue bottle and an aftermarket exhaust system to give it proper backpressure and that "bumblebee on steroids" sound all us import fiends love. That's my dream car. I wouldn't mess around with anything that's only got a 4 cyl. engine! Oh, maybe I'll touch on the reliability of Toyotas in another post. I'm sick of typing, and I'm getting pretty mad at you guys for bashing imports so much... It's not like all imports are bad - sure, some have their bad sides, some plain old suck, but it's no different than domestic cars. Long live the Supra!

And that's all I have to say about that... ...for now.

yeah, some imports are cool, i mean but what hes getting at has nothing to do with like driving it everyday or nothing, its with people try to make it seem better then it is and brag about it. i loved his site, its awesome. i didnt realise there were so many, i payed attention today and saw about 10 when i was riding through town. have to admit looks cooler but still, its not right right. volfan i dont think was dissing the cars itself it was the stupid people who try to make it seem like theyre better then what they are, as in bragging about nothing and just having stickers to try and look cool

Yeah, I hate it when people put huge wings and tons 'o sponsor stickers on their cars, but I think it looks cool when a car's got a good Ground Effects kit--even a minivan looks cool in that. :D (That was a long sentence...)

i totaly agree with traxxasboy, it makes me mad when you pull up to a street light along side of a 4 cylinder import and they start "reving" the engine. like they want to race to the next light. so i start reving my engine in my 85 iroc camaro. the light turns green and as soon as i drop the clutch and hit 1 st gear i'm gone, and there just now still waiting for there tranny to engage. to me a 4 cylinder import with a ton of after market parts and all the nitrous in the world would still be a pice of ****.

That isn't my site, I just happened to know of it. Although I do get a kick out of the cars.
A couple of weeks ago a RiceBoyz car pulled up to a redlight beside me. When it turned, I started off at a normal speed but he, for whatever reason, thought he'd try to show me the speed of his machine. The problem with that is I was in my MustangGT.
'Nuff said. :D
