Hi there,

Could some one please give me one or two links to a battery pack which would fit in the front and back battery compartment?

Also I see there;s a spare socket by the receiver.... charge jack?

Thanks. :)

Basicaly you just need to locate a 5 cell, 6V, flat pack. That will fit in the middle or rear battery box without issue.....tons of companies make them. I've used them from Racers Edge (okay), Onlybatterypacks.com (pretty good) and all sorts of makers inbetween....

If you can come across a battery from a stock Revo, that would work also. I found a brand new battery pack, charger and wall adapter from a new Revo, off ebay for 30 bucks. I have seen people complain about the Rx pack that comes with the Revo, but personally, I haven't had any issues with it on my Revo and not having any issues on my Jato either.

The Jato is set-up nicely to receive the stock Traxxas Rx pack. Find one on Ebay, it will save you some mad $$$!!!

This might not be under the exact category, but i dont feel like startin a new thread, quick question.

Everyone is always talkin about how the Revo comes with a charger and a bat. pack, soo if I buy a revo I need batteries and fuel, and if i buy a revo all i need is the fuel? (just to get the engine running)

You will a battery stick to power the ez-start. That's what kind of batteries they are talking about.

yeah kinda...

i think you will need to get something like this.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCLD5&P=ML

you need a NiCd/NiMH charger one that charges 6Cell/7Cell and one for the 5Cell because the types of batteries are different.

what i did is what most everyone else is doing i believe i ordered a REVO charger/battery pack kit. Brand new for 28$ shipped and recieved it in 2 days from

http://www.koltenw.com/proddetail.asp?prod=RBattery (i was linked to his site from an Ebay Auction) and it seems to work just fine, it is about a 30-45 minute charge.

also picked up one of these

tho i havnt used it yet.
