OH MY GOD...IM SO TICKED...HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?

http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/mad.gifyou know what heppened??do you want to know why the heck my description was so harsh??well, as i said earlier, after breaking in proprerly and running only a quart through my stampede, and not attempting any jumps or taking it full speeds for extended periods time, my linkage rod broke in the engine...the only time my wheels spun was when they where on the ground..well i just got it back after getting it repaired for lotsa $,and i started it....after about 2 or 3 seconds(literally)it stalled and the same thing occured...the starter gear is locked and its most likely a broken connector rod again.THIS SUCKS...twice in a row???with almost no running inbetween?whats wrong? http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/mad.gif

Like I said in the last reply,you have a 2 yr warranty on your engine.Unless you've had it for more than 2 yrs of course.Good luck!

i dont care about the stupid warranty....ill have to send my truck all the way to tower and by then, shipping costs will be the equavelent as getting them repaired...it shouldnt do this...its annoying me to no end...half the time ive had the thing its been getting repaired and i got it 2 months ago, and ran 1 quart through it

I know your ****ed off but the fact is,You need to get it fixed!It took me 2 1/2 weeks to get mine repaired and they sent me a brand new short block with a new one way locking bearing!!!It's worth waiting,mine is running killer!You only have to send the engine,not the whole truck!Or you could stay ****ed off and keep complaining about it!Good luck buddy!

sorry guys its not a broken conncetor rod this time, its a fozen piston..the guy cant get it out and think the engine might need replacing...ill call traxxas tommorow and see if i can get some details on where to shipped and what to ship it with....kinda stinks im having these problems, but hey, this is nitro....thanks for the help guys!

hey budtoh.....dont get the idea that this happened because it was a stampede....what woyld happen if they put this same engine in a tmaxx? would that change anything??plus it coulda just been me...maybe theres something i dont know about that made me destroy my engine.....i doubt it but i hate to think it was traxxas's fault....infact, it wasnt...it wasnt anyones fault.....stuff happens.....but right now, life ISNT good!...as soon as i send this thing in, life will be good again.......ill get it back as good as new
