I have no way of predicting when a particular hobby shop will get a JATO.
Revo did ship in July (mid-july IIRC).

that's because of people BACKORDERing the truck. If you want it asap, BACKORDER it...

I know I called Mike's Hoppy shop on 35E last week and got on the list. So Zip Tie can you make sure Mike gets some of the first ones shipped? lol.....

I pre-ordered my REVO on April 10th and recieved it on July 20th. The release date for the REVO was June. Traxxas did a great job of shipping the trucks after the short delay.

ha ha, I don't have that kind of heat. :-)
I used to run my Bandit at Mike's old track (before they moved). I haven't done it at the new place yet. I've got my Bandit dis-assembled doing the Bandit-->Rustler transformation on it.
Some of us here are trying to put together a stock Stampede class to race in somewhere in town. Those things are just ridiculously fun.

I may be wrong but dont the LHS get a few each on the first run only? If that's the case those are spoken for and general public has to wait for the second run/release and that's when you really see it in the LHS 6-8 weeks after a target release date. I believe also the larger mail order hobby places (on-line) sell them at that point also.

if you dont backorder, it'll take a month or two to get it, after it's been released.
Of course theres always "first generation" issues, so i'd avoid getting one of the first.
The LST had about as many issues as the Revo by the way...

Actually more, in number and severity. However all was said and done, they are both good trucks.
