Going to the WRAM show friday!

Im goning there on friday with my dad and i cant wait. They say they will have the Jato there, ill take some pics of it and post it here. Thats if they allow me to photograph it. :o

I always miss the WRAM show every year because I'm usually on vacation the weekend they have the show. It would probably be less than a 2 hour drive for me.....

I just got home from the wram show, its awsome! I brought myself a Agressor srx transmitter and i took pics of the jato. Also, a Lion batt flamed up on me! I was standing looking at transmitters when i saw this big flame, i thought a big rocket engine misfired or something! The flame was huge and it fired my way! I was lucky my sweater didnt catch fire because the flame was inches away from me. The table cloth set on fire but they just poured some water on it. Later i heard them saying that someone plugged it in and it got overcharged. Anyway here are the pics:

They also had a try me track where they had 6 rustlers driving around. When i was driving, some adults made a small 4 lap race and i beat all of them! The surface was so slick that if you do full gas you will definatly spin out so it was hard and everyone was sliding arund the turns.

One of my dad's friends was gonna go. Don't know if he did or not. I went 2 years ago. It was cool but there was not a whole lot of car stuff.

WRAM is an acronym for Westchester Radio AeroModelers - although over the years, the show has been featuring more car, truck and boat stuff.

I also went to the WRAM show. Since WRAM is an airplane group, it was mainly planes and helicopters, but traxxas was there and the Jato looked awesome. I took some pics of it, I'll post them later. The Traxxas reps wouldn't tell us a price point, but it was cool. They had a second tranny the guy showed me. it was cut out on the top so you could see all the gears and stuff, looked pretty complex but the mesh was great (there was no grease in this demo model). The whole car looked awesome, and felt really strong. The shocks did feel a little soft, but they are threaded so you can stiffen the springs.

There was a "Try Me" track? If there was I didn't know about it and there was no info about it. The building was too small to hold a track. And the downstairs was filled with more exhibitors. The upstairs was all seats and a room for the cars, planes, and boats in the competition. Maybe outside? But it was like 35 degrees.

They used the area where they had 3d electrics flying around and doing demos. When they were charging up they let the rustleres out. It was not much of a track, just a small oval about 30 feet long but it was still fun because of all the drifting we had to do.

Yes buy just not from my lhs:D tower should have a good deal when it comes out although you will probably be waiting forever. Why doesnt traxxas hold any events here in Florida so I can come see it????!!!!

The show will not be in PA. WRAM is a hobby group that holds the show. The W in WRAM stands for Westchester which is where the group is located and where the show is held. This is the only location where the WRAM hobby show will be. Sorry.

No, they one where they hold the show is near NYC. There are many westchesters around the country
