Will the Maxx Steering kit (6019-00) fit on an Emaxx? There is no info on their website to indicate either way. My LHS did not know, other than looking in the Traxxas book at the difference between the sterring systems of the Tmaxx and Emaxx. Anyone installed this on a Emaxx?

Yes. it will. But...... it's not a simple drop-in job. You'll need to grind down a post on the chassis. You also have to reverse the mounting from what the instructions say, and use the E-Maxx stock turnbuckle (from the steering kit to the steering servo). The Proline turnbuckle is for the T-Maxx only.
It's not the easiest upgrade in the world, but it works great once it's in. Much better than a standard servo saver. When combined with a quality high torque servo, you have a huge upgrade in steering response.

Thanks Buzzbait, I checked their website again but there is nothing about it. After doing more searches here, i saw some info on the installation. There was no instructions in the package. i have a BMS630MG servo installed on the Emaxx but am in need of a better servo saver.

Get one while you can. From what I hear, the Proline steering kit was recently discontinued. It's a real bagain.

i have one maxx with the proline and one with stock bellcranks with bearings. other that the built in servo saver i notice no difference. just putting bearings in the stock ones made a big differance.
