whats so bad about the radio?

i had some trouble with my tq rqdio. the reciever shorted out and the controller just wasnt comfortable for me. also there are so many more frequency possibilities with a 75 mhz radio

ive heard a few of u guys badmouthin the traxxas radio what the difference with it and the expensive ones? ive never really used nething else except my freinds one time (i hated it there was no foam on the wheel and it was to big and i just didnt like the feel of it)mine gets great range i drive it untill its bout the size of a matchbox car. get a little hard to control when its that far though cuz u cant really see where it is going. so whats the big difference

personaly i like the tq radio. it is comftorble. i dont think i would ever get a new on eunless i had too. but i dont plan to race i just bash.

hi again bandit. i don't have a trx radio,but it would be nice to get a better one,especially if your planning to race.To be truthful,i've seen the trx radio's price much higher than other radio's.Like the Hitec lynx am and fm.they are better radio's in my opinion.some features are:steering and throttle trims,servo reversing,dual steering rate,steering rate override,and the foam on the steering wheel http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif In towerhobbies they are priced as the lynx am at 52.99 and the lynx fm i think is about 89.99. It's your choice. Keep the Trx radio for sport,but save up and buy a better radio if you plan to race. Laterz,
