Alum exhausts usually make your car louder and should produce better performance for the area concentrated on. Some pipes focus on almost all ranges (low, mid, and high bands) That traxxas blue pipe seemed like it did to me. Anyways yes they look nice and do produce performance. A good cheap pipe is a traxxas blue pipe off tower.
enjoy

i say traxxas tuned pipe, worked well for me, it increases mid and top end, but low end gets a little bit slower, but you will still do some wheelies^_^

isnt .18 a smaller engine then 2.5?

no a .18 is bigger, a 2.5 is a .15 engine 2.5 is a different measurement. and by my 2nd run today the fantom .18 has a mouthful more of power then the 2.5. This engine is going to be crazy fun and fast.

when you doing excess speeds of 60+ its smart to check for a wall so you dont hit it. ive seen a 4 tec at full into a curb. not a pleasent site
