Hey I was just wandering if I diagnosed the symptons right.

The car starts and idles with slight eratic rpms.

It cuts out and acceleration.

Tried factory settings and still doesnt run.

Raised idle slightly, wheels spin but still dies under acceleration.

Changed fuel lines and exhaust with no luck.

Could it be the glow plug?

I have similair problem. I had it running great for like 3 qts over like 3 weeks and all of a sudden it starts easily everytime but dies after like a second. I changed the plug and same thing happens, I had it running but just a few minutes and it died and did the same thing, start then die. I also changed the fuel lines and had no luck.

I also think it is a lsn problem, cuz I have messed with it so much it will never be right again.

Mine idles ok, well sort of, its not a constant rpm but it doesnt die, very eratic.

It will stay running if I keep pushing the eztart button, but if I let off it will die? What does that mean? This thing is driving me crazy.

I would say you have a glow plug prob, cause its being powered when the ez start controller is on.

umm the only other thing i can think of is check for clogs. check the fuel filter and carb for build up and as a last resort open up the engine and check the piston and sleeve for any problems:)

I took it to the lhs to get a new plug, and I asked them to change it there and see if it would stay running, it didnt so they messed with the carb setting for like 20 mins. until it started and ran good, the temp was 226 and when I get home it started and I drove it down my drive way (20 feet) and it died, same thing again. start and stall.

thats because they tune it inside. the 2.5 is very touchy so tuning it inside and driving it outside does not work most of the time because of the weather differences. i would say take it back to them and hav then tune it outside for you:)

But they ran it outside for about 3/4 a tank and it seemed pretty fast, and in tune. They also tuned it a little outside.

well then i guess you just need to learn to tune. thats all i can think of. sorry:)

sorry i cant help more but its kinda hard to tune on the internet. i mainly tune by sound and then do a few final touches with the pinch test and temp check:)
