The Nitro Rustler is a stadium truck, much like the Nitro Sport. The Nitro Rustler has a full aluminum lower chassis; the Nitro Sport’s lower chassis is aluminum in the back and plastic in the front. The Nitro Rustler has bellcrank steering; the Nitro Sport has direct steering. The Nitro Rustler comes with the 2055 steering servo, which has 80oz./in. of torque; the Nitro Sport’s steering servo, the 2018, only has 40oz./in of torque. The Nitro Sport used to come with the TRX Sport .15 engine, when the Nitro Rustler came with the Pro .15. The Sport .15 equipped Nitro Sport didn’t come with a slipper clutch, but the Nitro Rustler always has. Now, the Nitro Rustler comes with the TRX 2.5 engine installed, and the Nitro Sport SE comes with the TRX Pro .15. The Nitro Sport SE also comes with a slipper clutch installed.
