i have snapped the 4 screws that hold down the rear diff. gear 2 times in the last month, when i put them in am i putting them in too tight and when the diff tries to spin it puts tension on the screws and snaps them? it also might not be that because it will work for about 6 runs before it breaks.

would putting gear grease under the screws help the diff spin more freely? thanks

The plastic ones suck, try getting some aluminum diffs from maximizer or kipster or fastlane machine. I use the fastlane ones and have not had any problems since.

or www.maximizerproducts.com fastline's diff cup lets the spider gears float on a shaft that rides in slots..just line the stock traxxas plastic cup. the maximizer(like the lippster) is set up so that the spiders ride on a fixed LONG cross shaft/set screw.....
