Big Bore Springs?

I've got a question.... Are the red Traxxas springs that come with Big Bores the same Spring Rate as Red Losi springs. I noticed that they are the same size, and that Losi springs are a perfect fit on these sweet shocks.

If they were the same rate, why would you bother changing them? They're 3.0 rate instead of the original 2.5 rate. As a rule of thumb, a companies spring colors are almost NEVER the same or even similar to anothers.

Yeah I was pretty sure the Rates wouldn't match but It never hurts to try. Why did I bother to change them??? Let me explain more clearly.

I just purchased some Big Bores Shocks That Came in the Mail Today. THey come with those red springs I mentioned. Saturday, I went to the LHS and picked up 2 pairs of each Losi spring : Yellow, Pink, And Orange. What I was saying is that the Traxxas Red Springs feel a tad stiffer than the Losi Orange Springs, and since The colors succession matches, I was wondering If by some remote chance if the numbers line up as well.
