I,m sold on the revo and want one now.

but here in Perth Australia we probably will not see it untill xmas, (if your lucky)

Have any of you guys tried buying a big item like this on the internet? as this would be the only way to get one over here quick.

what would be the best site to visit

Many thanks

Traveled all over the east coast of australia on my honeymoon two years ago - beautiful country.

I don't have a full service LHS near me here in the us so I usually order from Tower Hobbies (towerhobbies.com). I know rcpioneer.com also has them, but i have never used them.

Right now, tower has a $20 coupon on the website and the truck is 480 USD. Shipping will probably be a bear.

I live in Sydney Australia and order everything on the net from the US as my LHS stocks very little Traxxas parts and if they order them it takes 2 weeks, i can get it in 1 week from the net.
So far I've used Tower Hobbies www.towerhobbies.com and they are great I've actually got my revo on order with them, and Stormer racing is pretty good http://www.stormerhobbies.com/. So far I've had a Traxxas Nitro Rustler shipped from tower. A team Associated Monster GT from stormer and my friend got a savage 25 rtr sent to Melbourne from tower. Use Tower as there shipping is cheaper and there is a $20.00 discount if you type in the code from the home page whilst buying. If you need to ask any other questions drop us a PM and I'll help you as much as I can

i live in perth also and use towerhobbies for nearly all my gear from the USA. my Emaxx which cost around AU$900 here, i got from the USA landed here for AU$525
approx US$320 for MAXX
US$75 for freight
some times you may get stung for import duty and taxes which is approx 15% on the total amount of your order

price does depend a little on the exchange rate at time of transfer

good luck with your revo :)

i have got the REVO on my wish list but spend a little to much on racing my emaxx i might have to hold of on ordering the REVO
