I thought about the REVO so much today that I decided to look it up in the dictionary. It isn't in there. It's a cool enough name, but I wonder why Traxxas picked it. Sounds French

No jokes, OK. This is a better thread idea than some of the stuff I have seen on here.

lol, you notice its Over, spelled backwards? They probably took a common word and reversed the spelling. Or maybe its an acronym.

I agree with your comment:

"i think they call it the revo because its "revolutionary" or somthing".

But that could change the pronounciation from Ree-Vo (which is what we think it is) to Rev-O.

I know this was semi-addressed in another thread but can we the official word FROM TRAXXAS on the pronounciation and meaning (if any).

So, if there is an electric version (total speculation on my part), then will they call it the Revolt? Sounds tacky once i see it typed.:D

I like the Revo name, fits it very well indeed.:)

Or the Evo. That would stand for evolution.

I like Evo better for the electric version (if there is one!), Revolt is already being used by some "toy" manufacture. Revo Really Represents (hey cool 3 R's!) the truck, it's all new from the ground up!

Ok, after all the research traxxas claims to have spent on this Monster, why the name "Revo"?.... I would like to have seen a more meaner, intimidating and catchy name....when I hear the name "Revo"..I think of a auto car dealer like Hyundai, or Kia...oh well..my 2 cents.

I agree it ain't the meanest name out there (you know they thought about calling the VRod the "Toaster"?
Anyway, we will probably look back in a year and wonder how they had such brilliance finding Revo. You know how things grow on you....:D
