View Full Version : Electronically shifted

Is this for both forward/reverse and the 2 speed? Since it said it can be programed to computer radios, does it have the potential to be shifted manually? I think that would be sick if it could. It would be great to have the engine reved out to slide around a turn instead of it bogging into second. Plus I think it would eliminated the problem of "am I shifting into second?"

its just a shiftinter lock to prevent the tranny from being accidently shifted into reverse

No, I think it listed that it can't be accidentally shifted into second as an additional feature. It says that it actually decides when to shift, there are no internal clutches like the Maxx has. When it wants to shift, that might be what the mini servo is for, as well as reverse.

It still shifts with centrifugal force like the tmaxx does. The electronic part is only to prevent accidental shifts into reverse while moving forward.

Ya, I'm pretty sure the 2 speed is just a standard 2 speed pretty much. You adjust the shift point with an allen wrench, and its got a centrifugal clutch in it.
