Yep, that what the Traxxas guys told us (around 100 more than the T).

I have this question tho, according to tower all we need is fuel?

" REQUIRES: Traxxas 10%-20% Top Fuel "

What about the glow plugs? Did I missed something or is it really because we dont need em?

maybe it includes glow pulgs... oh and its 638 dollars here in canada... wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be, because a t maxx here is 600 dollars from greathobbies.com

mickey78

banshee: im also from canada.. and the Revo wont cost 638CAN.. because they (greathobbies) sell the Tmaxx for 589 and it should be around 505CAN with the conversion.

I bet they will sell it around 700$-750$ CAN

Remember, it's still around 100$ US more than the T... So if they sell the T for 589, they will sell the R for about 700-750.. Just my guess tho...

We are being ripped here in Canada...

Anyways, I already wrote em (greathobbies) to put me on their list, but they dont have the officiel price yet.

brewst007: buying from the states may be cheaper if you buy from used someone so that you dont pay customs.

Almost any store will issue an invoice, and at the cutom, you will be charged the difference.. so it's basically the same thing.

Thats a great price considering that it comes with a 5 cell rechargable pack and a charger. Thats about $30-35 and aluminum bodied threaded shocks which would cost around $30 for 4.

It looks like there are some parts on the truck that would break easily. Like the a arms for one.

Actually, after watching the video of the wheels turning, the upper arms look pretty beefy. They look beefier then the Savage upper arms. They durabilty of the arms was one of my concerns, but then I thought, any RC that went into a post or curb at a decent rate of speed would break something. I'm sure RPM will produce some nice arms for it.

What do you guys think of the new bulk head system? I know this was a major weakness on the T-maxx.

[i]I know this was a major weakness on the T-maxx. [/B]

That's an under-statement.

Well, atleast the REVO bulkheads are a little more compact! Smaller in design could help out quite a bit.

Thanks for posting this. It looks like they stole the role bar/handle from the Savage. The truck looks cool in the inside, but that spur gear looks like a tough one to get to. Other than that, and the 2.5, it looks like an awesome truck.

THAT PRICE IS AWESOME!

at my LHS a T-Maxx is £380 gbp which is $686 dollars so the Revo is cheaper than a T-Maxx at my LHS

The price makes sense. The new Losi monster truck is going to run just under $600 so Traxxas needed to stay a good bit under that.

I really wish they would put a bigger engine in it though. I realize the 2.5 puts out a lot of power, but it has to work way to hard to do so.

Should be a nice truck though.

Aken

Yes you can back order from tower hobbies. What you pay now is all it will cost, but if you use this code ( 04439 ) and buy it in July you can save an x-tra $5 because they probably won't ship it out right at the first of June. It probably will be late to mid June anyway. Well I just thought I'd let you all know since I have a ton of experience with tower hobbies. O ya and you can cancel back orders too if you need to.

It for sure isn't comming into tower hobbies untill late June... so it won't ship untill july. They are going to order a ton don't worry about not getting one. They know it is all the rage. Just tryin to help the workin man.
