there is oily residue around my glow plug.is that a normal thing or is it a prob?if it is a problem how do u fix it?thanx

I can think of two things bopth are fixed with a new glow plug. Eithere the copper washer is not sealing good or the glow pulg itself is letting fuel seap around the electrode on top of it. In either case a new plug should fix it. A small amount is not bad but if you look at it while its running and can see oil or bubbles its time to change it.

ive only ran about 7 tanks on my gp.u think it would already been foul

I am not saying that really just i have had them before in the past leak around the gasket and electrode on top. Like i said look at it while its running to see if its doing that maybe.

I have a gallon thru my glow plug, and it still looks brand new. And it the one I used to break in...
