Do you mean it came with a servo arm on and not the servo saver? Just take out the screw and take off the servo arm. Then put a servo saver on it like the "circle thing" on the stock servo..

you're gonna need an aftermarket servo saver, too. The stock Traxxas one doesn't have an adapter that fits correctly. (I think that's what you asked...)

With the 945, you will have so much more torque that you will want to use a heavy duty servo saver such as the Kimbrough 124 (that's the black one). The trouble is that their markings for which insert to use is not so good. You may have to investigate.

You will love the power of that servo! Just moved mine to my Clod as it was way more than I needed for the Pede!

Can anyone send me a link to the adaptor that will make the stock servo arm fit?
Or could i drill out the holes on one of the other ones?

Thank
Brad

there is no adapter to make the stock one fit.the hole in the stock one is to small as it is.

go here (http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lane/servo_saver/es-recommended.asp) and pick a servo saver that will work with the hitec, it doesnt matter which one...i personally use the GS Racing Servo Saver (Hitec/Hobbico) Red because you dont have to fiddle with any of those stupid inserts...

They got new servo savers. Here (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXS361&P=7) is a link for the Kimbrough.

But, i did think the stock servo saver would work. I'm probably wrong though.

kylesfa: I use the GS racing ones as well, but according to misbehavins site, they now take inserts as well.;)

i noticed my purple gs racing one took the inserts, but i bought another red one and it did not...i think only some take inserts...i may need to stock up on some more red ones so i dont have to bother with them...

I think it's been in roughly the past 6 months that they've changed it. I got mine off the net about that long ago, and it doesn't take inserts either. You might have gotten old stock off a shelf or something. Or you could be right, that some are that way, and some aren't.

yes it does.
Unless things have changed recently the stock Traxxas servo saver will not fit a Hitec. It should, but if you count the splines in the #2 and #3 inserts, you'll find that they are exactly the same just labeled differently.

More information (http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lane/servo_saver/es-inserts.asp).
