Which gear?????If it is anything internally then I would go with white lightning it can be found at bicycle shops.It is wet at first then dries to a waxy film that repells dirt.

jakes dad, if your talking about you differential gears, I favor a heavy wheel bearing grease myself. It has always served me just fine. This is a suggestion straight from the Traxxas tech. dept.

I recomend the Associated Green Gupe! Its thick and keeps the gears lubed.

I use WD-40 and gun oil in mine. Just have to put more in every now and then. Like about every 4 or5 tanks of fuel.
