I want to put a bigger engine on my nitro hawk. What good .15 can I put on it and what mods do I have to do to make it fit. Anything with the tranny? Clutch assembly?

Put the traxxas pro 15 in it. There is no mods and it works great.

The OS .15Cv-rx is a good engine....1.2HP..... only like 139.99 with a pull start from www.towerhobbies.com

that prolly won't fit in the hawk because of the crank shaft.

I agree the Traxxas TRX Pro .15 is an excellent choice because there are no mods unless you are upgrading from a .12 then you will need a different brake, $6 part, but that's it. I run a Pro .15 in mine and I love it.
I also put an OS .12 CV in one of my Hawks and I had to buy an Associated engine mount, clutch bell, clutch, flywheel, and all those little parts that go in there too. I also had to drill new holes in my chassis and do a lot of little tweaking. This was a lot of extra time and money considering the TRX Pro .15 bolt right in with no problem.
