One Hobbicco high torque and metal gears servo, Tower Hobbies System 3000 receiver, Novak Rooster with two battery wire male ends for longer run time, and a Speed Gems Titanite motor with a 7 cell battery and a 6 cell together for longer run times and the 7 cell power. I also have a 13t pinion and 87t spur setup. It's got good speed and great acceleration. Whadayathink?

He's made it to where he gets twice the runtime using two male ends on his ESC. I imagine his motor gets really hot after a run. I would rather wait for it to cool off and then just run the 6 cell or have the 7 cell charged again.;)

Two mail ends going to the motor or battery. And how would that possibly double yer run time????;)

Its the way you wire them up. You can wire in series or parallell. One will give you double the runtime, and the other will give you the combined voltage from both batteries. In his case, as i saw on the other thread (hes got a 1500 and 2000) hes got 8.4v and 3500 mah. If he wired it differently, it could be 15.6v and 2000(right?) mah. And its two male ends going to 2 batts.

You will not get 7-cell power with that combination of batteries. You will also not get double the runtime because you are also doubling the weight. When the pack with less capacity runs out, the other pack could cause cell reversal in the weaker pack.

well, for some reason its working fine for me, i do get double the run time,i have it wired parallel with 2 battery connectors on the ends of my wires so i can plug in 2 batteries. i get double the runtime, BUT, the cell power I think averages out between 7 cell (8.4v) and 6 cells (7.2v) and i think i got 7.8v now. When i put in the 6 cell battery then i put in the 7 cell i get more voltage, when i take out the 6 cell though i get a little more power. Oh and BTW, can you buy the on/off switch that goes with the rooster or not? my plastice switch part broke off and i have to use a pen or something to move the switch. sometimes i just go with leaving it on and just disconnecting the batteries to cut the power like in the MSC setup that comes with Stampede and Rustler models without ESC.
