what will happen if i put 2 cycle unleaded fuel into a 2.5 trx 4-tec???
some people says it works great
any ideas??? will it break?
Gasoline is much more volatile than nitromethane. At best, the engine won't even fire. At worst, the gas could detonate.
Besides, even if it was theoretically possible, running on gas would probably produce less power. The engine just isn't designed for use with anything other than nitromethane.
Just curious, who told you that it "works great"?

i agree with bobr this would be very dangerous to try,and who ever told this gave you very inaccurate infomation.i would only use fuels that are best for nitro engines!

unbelievable that anyone could conceive of this working. The glow plug stay hot due to the catalytic reaction between the metanol and the platinum/rhodium coil in the glo plug. Even with an ignitor on the glo plug the octane of gas is so low it will just burn, as in flames. That kawasaki kid is so full of bull......
