Sweet! I'm going back to Hobby and Toys (my local lhs) to order the water cooling kit and the prop shafts! Can't wait 'till it arrives. It's like waiting for Christmas when I was a kid! Nice job on the vids, and thanks for the parts lists/exploded views.

I've updated media player, installed the correct codecs...but all i get in .wmv format is the music.....no picture. Guess i wasn't meant to see it. The older Villain IV video plays fine.

Doesn't work for me either, says file not supported. All other Traxxas vids work fine.

Man, I am really hoping that that villain EX was running 6 cell packs with stock props. I don't know what everyone else is seein, but it looks way slow to me. Especially for 12 cells.

My old villain is feelin its age, so I was lookin foward to buyin a new one, but after seeing that video, I dont think itd be worth it.

Well with the EVX you can't exactly run 6 cells unless you know how to jump the second battery connector so it will work properly with the BEC and all. But keep in mind the camera can be very deceiving. It's better to wait and find out what it's like from someone who actually buys it and runs it for the first time.

I thought it looked pretty slow also but it was probly so the camera could get good shots. Looked to be running a tad wet also. You think they could have showed it launching off some monster waves. Come on Traxxas lets see some radar or GPS verified speeds.

Maverick,

I didn't say 6 cells. I said six cell packS. As in two six cell packs.

And Lou, I think its your fault that the video looks slow to me. I'm used to seeing that sweet clip of your villain doin those 35 mph or so runs. lol

Yes its real wet, it need to be trimmed up and have the props rotate inwards and that will help alot.
