there is a search feature on the top of the screen, you can use that and get your answer without posting, you can also get lots more info without asking that way.

the blast will go around 15-16mph out of the box. which may not seem fast, but if you're new to the hobby, thats screaming. the villain is a little slower than the blast but is a lot more smooth. it'll take on bigger waves and is less likely to spinout as the blast spins out often with too much on the turning joystick. the blast is capable of around 25mph with a little over 160 dollars into it. but thats the highest practical speed. if you want to go faster, get a bigger boat. the blast is too short and too narrow to accommodate a larger brushless motor or low turn motor like a 10t. trust me, 25mph is plenty fast. me personally, i have experience with nitro boats and i decided i wanted to get into the electric hobby so i bought a blast. since i can controll it already from prior experience and i have a long range radio system, i've set a goal of 30mph for the blast by the end of summer.

You can't get to 25 w/o a different ESC. I have an IPC sport esc w/ a 14 turn limit, and a 15 turn triple motor. and an Octura prop,
and an anti cavitation plate, and a water cooler system!:)
