does anyone know a way to make the trx 2.5 any eaiser to tune?? plugs....plates......sealants.....carbs......pipes ......meythods.....ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! i need it to be eaiser cause i'm not the best at it and i haven't taken my t-maxx out in weeks becausof it and a few other setbacks i don't wanna do right now.....but i need some way to tune eaiser!! PLEASE POST SOMTHING thanx

I just got rid of the engine. It has great power but I want an engine that will run. You may try getting an O.S. carb. :)

you just dicthed your hole engine??? sheesh.....lol any more LESS expensive ideas that will leave me with an engine?? lol;) :rolleyes:

If you have an air leak which is the cause of many tuning issues you can use Sensor Safe sealent and seal the carb. You also need to tune it exactly by the book and make small adjustments at a time. If you don't already have a temp. guage they make tuning a whole lot easier.:)

an o.s. 10d carb fits right in. i have never tried this but I have heard nothing but good things about this swap.....

I have heard that it is WAY easy to tune and is less temperamental. Also that it holds a tune from day to day.
Like I said ...I have never tried it... But I have heard from online buddies that it is the way to go.... I'm gonna give it a shot, seeing im on my 2nd cracked plastic carb already.....
