How do I change the glow plug?

There was a little glow plug wrench that came with the car... just unscrew the glowplug with that and pop a new one in.... pretty simple. :)

Take the supplied glow plug wrench and put it over the glowplug(in the center of the the cooling head) and turn it counter-clockwise and pull it out. When you put a new one in replace the gastket too.

When you replace the copper colored gasket make sure the bottome of the 'bowl' is facing the ground/down. That curve, if installed backwards, can cause air and fuel leakage. Fuel spitting out while its running can get into the eye. Which is a very good reason to carry Bausch(sp?) and Laumb Emergency Eye Wash. It helps! Trust me! Been there and done that. And weirdly enough, twice.
Also, be certain to replace the plug with either the same brand and model, or, at least make sure that the length is the same if you choose something else. Installing one too long can cause excessive damage to the head and ultimately the rod that holds the piston. Not good. Turbo plugs you can clearly tell wont go in any stock Traxxas mill. Or most others for that matter. Unless of course you change the head/button to accommodate turbo plugs. Before doing so, check with the manufacturer to make sure you wont run a risk of damage that could void your warranty.
Sorry to be so long winded.
And yes, there should be a plug wrench with the vehicle. If you purchased it second hand you may not. Being you own a nitro r.c. though you prob have a socket set or drivers around. Counterclockwise to remove, clockwise to tighten.
When tightening, be careful as not to overtighten it. The threads are softer than you think in that head/button. And that mistake really bites!
Good luck with that plug!
