Yes, I know use the search tool, except it never works for me always asks for more than 4 words, so i give it 4 and still doesnt work ..

So aside from fabricating my own wheelie bar is there any company already making one? GPm, New era etc etc ?

My buddy and I thought of doing this but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Go to your local home depot or another place that sells welding stuff and buy some strike flints (their like $5 for a box of 5 flints). One side of the flint has a magnesium tip while the other side is a female thread. Drill a couple angled holes in your rear bumper just behind the battery box and thread some screws through the holes so that the threads are hanging out the bottom. Add some threadlock and screw on the flints. Voila, a custom, sparking, wheelie bar with replaceble flints.

I would recommend using at least 2-3 flints along the bumper right where it curves up. Ideally you don't want them hanging too low. Anymore than 3 and you might compromise the strength of the bumper.

I make these for the electrics. The only difference is the hole pattern on the bottom of the transmission.

They are 32.50 and completely bulletproof. I've sold around 25 of them, and the guys in the electric forums (stampede and Rustler) are pretty stoked on them.

The competition is EXTREMELY fragile.

I use 1/8 Aluminum, the plate attaches to the bottom, and curves up 90 degrees. You can switch the mounting of the wheels from the top of the curve to the bottom.

Putting it on top allows you to roll LONG controlled wheeles, I've done some that were 200feet easy.

Mounting it in the lower position is a wheelie defeater. It will send the front back down to the ground.

Just PM me if you're intertested. I'll get an impression of the tranny housing from the LHS and create a custom plate for you.

Later,
Swami
