i have a question i am having trouble starting my 4-tec with a .15 pro engine. it doesn't get fuel eve when i prime it. the fuel goes to the muffler. i replaced the fuel lines and the exhause line. any help would be appreciated. also i seem to have lost second gear it just stalls before hitting 2nd. thanks to all.

if u hold your finger over the exhust tip u can get the fuel to go the other was and into the carb....also if u replace the fuel tank with the primerless tank u won;t have that problem....traxxas fixed a design flaw on the primer tank...the pressure inlet went all the way to the bottom of the tank.

Dont use the primer bulb to prime it then, put your finger over the tip of the exhaust and give it a quick short crank over, this will blow fuel round the carb line.
If its stalling at high speeds replace your glowplug or richen the mixture a tad on your high speed. If richening makes it worse, lean it a little.
