Beware VIRUS!!!

I recieved an email yesterday from what it said was from traxxas and the subject was traxxas support. It had an attchment that was a virus. I have Norton Antivrus so I should be ok. It's quarrantined and am in the process of deleting it. BE CAREFUL!

I am sure somebody will explain how Klez and related virii work. It is always smart to have an anti virus program if you value your computer information. We have an excellent anti virus system that prevents us from receiving or sending infected messages.

Techinically Klez is a worm, not a virus. However that's really splitting hairs.

I see the Klez virus all the time at work due to restrictions I have implimented at our firewall and mail server. Klez is capable of forging the "From" address in an e-mail, so that it looks like it came from someone other than who it actually did. If you look at the "Reply" address in the e-mail header, that is the true sender.

This is a nasty little bugger due to the fact that many do not know they are infected, they often don't see where "it causes a problem" and they don't worry with it.

i recently had the yaha virus (thats a anoying one)
and when i brought noton internet security 2003 it deleted all of the yaha virus.(and that it every file that ends in .exe) so none of the windows programs worked (scary stuff)thanks to norton viruse removal i was able to restor my computer

I currently have klez, it stinks! I can't check my email here, it attacked hotmail on my computer for some reason, so i have to check t from school. I just recieved my pc-cillin. It's a thing like norton, only me thinks it's better than norton for worms. Oh well, i hope it's ok.

My pc had the klez32 worm since a couple of weeks ago.
Some computer swat my mum knows came and sorted it out.

It basically a worm which blocks up the email system.

It makes the internet slower, too. :)

my mcaFee has found such a virus on my comp too. Its totally fooled me until my protecter told me about it.
