You need Big Bore Long shocks for the front, and Big Bore XXLong for the rear. I was confused about this when I ordered mine. They are sold in pairs.

I've been looking into Big Bore shocks also...what kind of spring options do you get with the Big Bore shocks? As in colors...stiffness...etc...also..how much extra do the springs cost...long and xx-long. your knowledge would be appreciated!

The springs are a whole other issue. I have been searching for info on the springs and talking to my LHS and there just isnt much info on them. I did buy some white and some red, they were $2.50 a pair. I still ended up staying with the black ones for racing. I am going to try changing the pistons and using different oil weights to change the set up. Maybe Nitro Chicken can give us some insight on the springs?

The big bore shocks do not come with springs. You will need to use the stock springs. We no longer make variable rate springs but Losi racing springs will fit.

I use the Losi orange up front, and their yellow out back on my big bores, and they seem to work really well.
Just my 2 cents, hope it helps.

Thanks for all your info guys...I'll surely look into Losi springs when I get my big bores!
