would it be possible to put in a 5 cell hump pack from ballistic battery? the reason i ask is because i havent got my 4 tec yet and was wanting to get a rechargeable reciever pack and fail safe what do you guys think ? would that be a good i dea?

this configuration of pack(2/3 hump) should fit. I have this style pack in my pro, not ballistic but any receiver pack with this configuration should work.

yes that would be like something i would want to put in it. but will it fit ok?

yes, it will fit in the same spot that the 4AA batteries are in now.
