Hi! What's the pinion measurement of the Stampede? Is it 48P or metric? I want to buy extra parts for my pede. Is there any hardened or steel spur and pinion for the pede?
Thanks in advanced! :D
The pinion and spur on the stampede are 48P, Im not sure what metric is. I think you can switch to a different pitch but it wouldnt really help. The pinions are all some kind of metal, if yours is messed up just get a robinson racing one. There are also steel spurs but tey are supposed to be bad for the truck. It would probably just put more stress on the gears in the tranny. If your stripping spur gears, just loosen the slipper a bit.

As long as you are using the stock spur gear you can not change to a different pitch. The gears would not mesh correctly.

The rest of your information seems to be covered well. However I'll further address this part of your post.

Why you shouldn't run a steel spur. (http://www.misbehavin-rc.com/pit-lane/steel-spur/es-steel-spur.html)
