I know of one in Dekalb, I will have to get the info on it, but I believe they do not have freestyle (AJ's??).

Since you want to jump I am assuming that is what type of track you are looking for. I am going to ask some of the motocross guys out by my house if they would let us use their tracks to run the RC cars.

I will keep you updated, since we have snow now it will have to wait a few weeks.

I live in the West Suburbs, close to Napperville.

If you are looking for a really great track in the Chicagoland area you should check out Leisure Hours Hobbies indoor offroad track located in Joliet Illinois, it's a large facility, big enough to run nitro 1/8th's buggies, they change the lay out about every two weeks, the tracks base is 20% dirt and 80% clay, they have a good ventilation system so you run all winter long and for the summer they have even a bigger out door track, you have any questions you can call the shop at 815-439-1477, or go to their web site. at

The newest R/C track for Chicagoland is the Chicagoland R/C Raceway in Tinley Park, Illinois. We'll feature on road and off road racing this season, starting as soon as the weather turns nice.

Also, we're going to be hosting the first annual 'Monster Jam' sponsored by the ChicagoRC club (www.chicagorc.com). It will be a full day of monster-truck-only activities, including races, free style performing on special monster truck designed terrain (car crushing, mub bogs), tractor pull competitions, etc. The event will be held on May 10th. Check out the ChicagoRC club website for more details.

See our track's web site at: www.chicagolandrc.com

Leisure Hours is nice for the winter, but who wants to race inside during the summer? Especially when you can race outdoors at our track, AND you can set up your pit space inside our beer garden... how about a beer between heats? (I should mention, rumor has it that Leisure will NOT be able to race outdoors any more due to noise problems last year and complaints from their neighbors). Our tracks are well lit, and we have no houses nearby, so we can race nitro well into the night (3am closing time, to be exact).

We are hoping to become 'the' place to race R/C this summer in Chicagoland.

No problem. Anyone that wants to be notified about our new race tracks can just send me an e-mail (either by clicking on 'contact us' from our web page or by entering my e-mail address manually: walt.gorczowski@nav-international.com).

I don't think I can get your e-mail address off of your profile (or at least I don't know how to do it).
