I'm new to the Nitro racing. I've owned my rustler for 2 months, at it still runs great. I got it clocked in an 46.3 mph. It has bearings and road hawg 2 tires. Will the graphite chassis/shock towers increase the performance? What about the fiberglass? What type of pipes/headers does everyone run? Does the Cevec or Paris Turbo Ring do much to acceleration/top speed? What about servos (steering and throttle)? And electronics ie, reciever pack, receiver, transmitter. Thanks for the help everybody.

What kinds of hop-ups have you done to improve speed, or is that speed stock. Im just looking for some ideas also. Last night i had a rough landing and snapped my rear shock tower, the graphite upper chassis was ordered today.

Hey fellows
I am using the M.I.P. 360 degree pipe, and it comes with composit rear shock tower.I run my trucks very hard and this tower has held up just fine, and the pipe is great, A big improvement on bottom and mid range power. well worth the 40 or 50 bucks . Tony

The speed is stock. My friend helped me tune it since I wasn't able to lean over due to a recent dislocated knee. I don't know what the adjustments were, but it took a while to tune. There was a piece of plastic stuck in the pressure nipple and it screwed the factory settings. The only hop-ups I have are Pro-Line Road Hawg II tires, ball-bearings, and a custom painted body. Let me know how well the performance is with the Graphite upper chassis.
