we were putting a new roof on our house and there was ply wood up there and a bunch of boards. I stacked the boards up about three feet on the roof and put the ply wood over it. I gunned it my NS flew at least 50FT in the air. it landed on it's wheels and did two backflips because of how steep the ramp was. I went down the ladder and it was still running. I broke my reaer shock tower and cracked one wheel. all four a-arms blew off and cracked.
The repair cost me about $75.00 bux, remind me not to do this again, i am only 13 and dont have 75 bux to go and spend every week.
I am getting a sport maxx for my b-day which is on halloween, but i dont get it on b-bay because it's not out yet.

Well , its not the dumbest thing, but its kinda funny.
My wife and I were drag racing. She was runnin' the N.Sport and I was runnin' my GT. I got her off the line and started to pull away from her. She caught me , my N.Sport runs 43mph and my GT runs 35mph, and started to pass me. She hit a bump in the road and it cause the N.Sport to bounce infront of me. She let off the throttle and I smacked the N.Sport in the rear HARD, so hard it broke the battery box (by then she was back on the throttle hard) and lost the battery holder. The poor little N.Sport went full throttle into a privacy fence, bounce off it and ran up a tree about 5 ft then landed on its top (while going full throttle). Broke the battery box, front bulkhead, front left steering knuckle, bent the rear shock tower, broke the left from wheel, bent 2 shock shafts and blew the engine.:)
After that she didnt want to drive it again:D .
Since then I put fail safes on all my Nitros.

Well, once I was racing it in the road near my house, and decided to go full throttle for some wicked speed. Of course, the wire on the battery box chose the perfect time (right a full throttle) to fall off. It went full throttle straight at me! And ingenious me thought that I could stick my foot out to stop the car. Needless to say, it didn't work. The car flipped upside-down and stopped, but my foot swelled up so big I couldn't walk for about 3 days. I still have some nitro grime that was mashed/burned/crushed into my skin. Man, does that sucker hurt!

boy, that has got ta hurt like i dont know, really really really really really really really bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10-21-2002, 10:44 PM
lol thats kinda like me and my tmaxx my trottle linkage got nock off and it came at me at 1/2 throttle and i hear it go into 2nd gear and it starts gonig faster so i try to stop it and it hits my legs and keeps gonig so i turn and dive and catch the bumper then the tires start to spin and spary dirt all over me, lol

the dumbest thing i have ever done is turn start the engine without the radio on it went full throttle into a garbage bin and it ripped of the left rear shock cap and snaped the left a arm in half

I was tuning my sport for max speed on a busy road. I was almost at max range and turned way to sharp. NS now legs up in the air with a car bearing down on it at high speed.
I start off at a run, actually a sprint, have to save my baby!!!!
Next thing I am headed for the tar, I tripped at max speed, car still bearing down on my NS. Now going through my mind as I head for the ground in slow motion is that I can minimise my injuries of I put my hands out, only problem is I have the control in my hand so i held the control up in the air and prettry much ripped all the skin from my right arm and hip. I bounced up off the ground and hobbled to my baby lying on its back in the street saving it from certain death.
No damage to the truck, no damage to the control and three weeks later I can move my arm again.
At least I have my priorities right!!!!

Heck, i was in outer banks this summer and there was this huge sand dune right next to the road.i was like "i can clear it." ha i went full throttle and hit the dune well instead of going across the street i went straight up and landed upsidedown and i broke mah battery box and my shock caps come open spilling my oil all over the place. Another thing i did in OBX was i was rampin a bush in front of a sand dune and i broke mah shock tower. Lol that week was great. :D

Dude, I'd love to tell you, but Traxxas 'outlawed' my harrowing goat experience from being publicly told again.
I'll PM it, but I don't want to be banned for putting out to the GP.

ok i did this with my rusty but its still pretty dumb. i was racing my friend and he got out ahead of me on the street and there was this moving car in front of me. so he passed the car and i decided to just keep goin straight and go under the car. i made it through and made a sharp left turn on a wet patch of the road so i spun and the car ran over my right rear wheel and i jus kept goin. i beet him with out one wheel!! but it cost me 50 bucks to fix everything when i was done.
