I just got a Nitro Sport from a friend. The settings on the carberator are messed up and I need to know how far to unsrew those two screws. The big one and the small one. Please explain in detail, im new to this

The big screw on the back needs to be turned 2 1/4 turns from being all the way closed (turn it clockwise tell it won't go no more do not over tighten and turn counter clockwise 2 1/4 turns).
The little screw beneath where the air filter is, is for the idle. Pull the air filter off and the opening where the air gets sucked in should be approximately 1-2 mm open.
I believe I have all this memorized right if not somebody please double check.

the idle should be turned 1 3/4 from closed 1 1/2 for high altitude. im pretty sure
Nitro good, Batteries bad.

I always thought that too but I couldn't even get mine to start with that setting. I had to turn mine out like 3 1/2 turns before it would even start. Go figure?

Sounds like you have the trx-15 pro if you have both a low and high idle screw. The sport engine has only the high idle screw. Make sure you know what carb. you have, because the stock settings are about 1 turn different, and will make it hard to dial in.
