Hey all, this is my first post. I have a nitro sport. I have taken out the baffle and the carb restrictor and I have a robinson Racing 72 tooth Spur Gear and a 16 tooth clutch bell. All of the mods do great..tons of power...BUT. My stock axle or slipper shafts or whatever you call them, kept coming apart.(they would come apart at what I would call the U-joint) Then I went to MIP CVD's. I have since been through 3 sets of those and you have to do crazy adjustments to the toe of the tire to get the CVDs to stay. If anyone is familiar with the CVDs, the little pin that goes through the bell actually breaks off and through the bell. I have tried "the old shrinkwrap around the bell" to keep the pin from sliding out, and still no luck. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would appreciate it. hope to hear soon.

the hole is too big for the pin. Take it back to the place where you got it and get a refund. And the poping out at the u joint is caused by the dog bone piece that connects to the u joint being "streached out" that part should be replaced.

Subaru-
thanks. Question? Are the MIP CVDs no good? I had this problem on 3 seperate sets. Is it bad design on MIPs part?
thanks

Yeah, my guess is that you are using the rustler CVD's.. since the sport is wider than a rustler u have to use a nitro stampede MIP CVD.. The same thing happened to me recently... the cvds on my "monster sport" (jump truck) the pin broke right through the dogbone.. comepletely breaking it. i emailed MIP about it, but they are to evil to reply... also.. the 360 manifold for my stinger pipe just broke... MIP is slacking!
